Do you accept credit or debit cards?
Yes. At Tatau we accept cash (soles and dollars), Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, as well as Yape and Plin. For international visitors we facilitate payment with foreign cards at no extra charge.
Do your tattoo artists speak English?
Yes — we speak English. Consultations, quotes and sessions can be conducted in Spanish or English. International tourists and clients get tattooed with us regularly and our team is used to working bilingually.
What tattoo styles do you specialise in?
Our 11 artists specialise in a wide variety of styles: realism, black & grey, blackwork, fine line, neo-traditional, Maori, Japanese, lettering and designs inspired by Peruvian culture (Inca, Nazca, Andean and Amazonian motifs). Bring your reference or idea and we’ll match you with the right artist.
Can I get a Peruvian-inspired tattoo (Inca, Nazca, Andean)?
Absolutely — it’s one of our most loved specialties. Many visitors choose to take home a permanent memory of their trip to Peru with motifs such as Nazca Lines, Inca symbols, Tumis, Andean animals (condor, puma, serpent) or Amazonian iconography. We customise it to your style and size.
Do you accept walk-ins (no appointment)?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome. We recommend booking in advance via WhatsApp to guarantee artist and time-slot availability, but with 11 tattoo artists we can often accommodate you the same day. If you’re walking around Miraflores and feel like getting a tattoo, stop by or message us.
What hygiene standards do you follow?
At Tatau we apply international-level hygiene and biosafety protocols. All needles and materials are sterile and single-use. Workstations are disinfected between clients with hospital-grade products. Our artists wear gloves, masks and appropriate clothing. The studio holds a municipal health certification.
How do I care for my tattoo afterwards? / Aftercare
We provide a full aftercare guide and answer any questions in the following days via WhatsApp. The essentials: keep it clean with neutral soap, moisturise 2–3 times a day with healing cream, avoid direct sun, sea and pools for 2–3 weeks, and don’t pick the scabs. Lima’s dry climate helps healing, but if you’re heading to the jungle or highlands we’ll give you specific advice.

Calle Cantuarias 357, Miraflores, Lima. 5 minutes on foot from Parque Kennedy and the Ovalo de Miraflores, 10 minutes’ walk from Larcomar. Easy access from any hotel in the tourist district.

We are open Monday to Sunday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. If you need a different time slot, coordinate with us via WhatsApp.
